Your profile

We are looking for a self-motivated, energetic Finance Manager with strong communication skills and a get-the-job-done attitude. You are the assistant of the CFO and the source of information for the whole XXL team. Moreover, you are the interface to the external accounting service provider as well as to our shareholder in Stuttgart/Germany.

You have strong accounting skills and you are able to independently conduct your tasks within an enthusiastic team. You get the space to further optimize the financial processes and systems.

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Preparation of financial reports (monthly, quarterly, and annual closing, incl. PnL, balance sheet, KPIs, VAT) supported by a financial accounting outsourcing provider.
  • Analysis of financial reports
  • Forecasting and budgeting
  • Accounts payable and bank payment process
  • Drafting and improving internal controls
  • Set-up and maintain an adequate data structure
  • Preparation of information for the year-end external audit
  • Administration of the payroll, supported by external payroll provider

Your experience

  • At least completed HBO Business Economics or Accountancy,
  • 3-7 years of work experience in a comparable position
  • First experience in owning the complete financial closing agenda
  • Good accounting and reporting skills
  • Strong MS Excel skills
  • Experience and insighst into administrative processes
  • Good command in written and spoken English (Dutch, French or German is plus)
