What you’ll be doing

At BiGDUG we pride ourselves on offering our customers what they want, and in this role you’ll be responsible for assisting the Product Category Managers to help ensure we meet our customers’ expectations by developing and managing our product ranges according to the category strategy. Working closely with the Product Category Managers, you’ll help ensure that every aspect of product range management is refined throughout the product lifecycle, from concept to end-of-life, providing input to business cases and using insights to optimise range success.

This diverse role will also enable you to develop your skills, gain product/market knowledge, and understand our competitors, new technologies and innovation.

This is a key position and pivotal to the success of our Product Team and would be ideal for someone looking to start or progress a career within Product Management in a fast-paced environment.

A bit about you

Ideally, you will have recently graduated with a Business Studies degree or equivalent, or maybe have some experience of Product Management or Buying within a Retail environment. Communication and building relationships are key and you will be an effective communicator who is comfortable liaising and negotiating with suppliers.

Analytical, you enjoy working with data and understand how data can drive business decisions. You are willing to learn, with an ability to work within a team environment and have high levels of intellectual curiosity. 

The role will involve some travel so a full driving license is essential.
